DRA Pacific was engaged to undertake engineering, procurement and construction management for the expansion of the plant at NSR’s Jundee Mine, 45 km northeast of Wiluna in WA. The project execution involved: an engineering study requiring preliminary design and capex/opex for the final investment decision and detailed engineering design, site construction management, technical support and commissioning.

The expansion project scope included the following components:

• Addition of secondary crushing and screening to the existing 500 tph primary crusher circuit;
• H6 (500 kW) Metso cone crusher and 2.4 x 6.1 m Metso double deck screen;
• Three (3) new conveyors and tramp magnets;
• Gravity circuit upgrade;
• Elution circuit upgrade;
• Upgrade to the in-line leach reactor, and
• New electrical switchroom.
