DRA Global has secured a contract with Australian Strategic Materials (ASM) to provide engineering services in support of an Options Assessment for the Dubbo Project, a major rare earths and critical minerals deposition.

The objective of the Options Assessment is to identify potential lower capital and shorter implementation pathways to rare earth production at the Dubbo Project, which is critical for ASM’s Final Investment Decision on the project.

Michael Carretta, DRA Global’s Senior Vice President – APAC East, said the company had strong capabilities in rare earth’s and critical minerals, supported by their study, engineering and project delivery expertise across the Australian offices in Brisbane, Perth and Newcastle as well as in our global regions in the Americas and Africa.

“We are pleased to continue our relationship with ASM, leveraging our extensive expertise to support this work to identify alternative, capital efficient and nearer term options for producing rare earth elements at the Dubbo Project,” he said.

The APAC team in Brisbane will deliver the services, in conjunction with SENET, providing key solvent extraction technology expertise.
