Global engineering, project delivery and operations management group, the DRA Group (“DRA”), is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of Queensland-based G&S Engineering Services (“G&S Engineering or “G&S”) from Calibre Group Limited.
As announced on 5 July 2018, DRA entered into a conditional agreement to acquire G&S Engineering. The contract conditions have been met, and the transaction has now been successfully closed. The acquisition cements DRA’s position in Australia, specifically on the East Coast, adding a total workforce of circa 1000.
The news also follows the completion of the transaction of Perth-based engineering company Minnovo, announced on 17 January 2018. Minnovo adds key resources and experience to DRA’s capabilities, extending DRA’s procurement, project management, construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance capabilities in the region.
